Ugh. It's been an uphill battle but hopefully one that will finish this week. Draft 1, well, draft no. 100 is more like it, but final draft version 1 is now done. As soon as we can iron out the details, we'll be home free! I can't wait!

Last year I stepped in at the last minute to replace Somak at an IoP evening lecture in Worcester. The feedback was very positive, and as a result I was asked to give a talk here in Birmingham! This will be Tuesday night at 7.30pm and it's gauged for a general audience. It's free and will be about an hour long, so come one come all!

Today the foundation year labs start! I can't wait to see what the new year has in store. I find teaching these students to be particularly rewarding.
