Gravity fields was great fun! There were so many interested kids on Saturday, and then on Thursday and Friday with my fellow GW hunter, Mengyao Wang (@GWpolarizer), and I did a lot of demonstrations to home schooled children. Thanks to the organisers for putting together a great festival :) On the right one can see some of our most enthusiastic participants! This young lady was especially keen on the lycra Universe. Physics, watch out!

I just found out this morning that I've officially been short-listed for the Institute of Physics' Very Early Career Prize for women in physics. I'm not sure when I found out if I've won (or not!), but I've been invited to their big event on October 17th
